I hope.
I mourn.
I cry.
And it pours.

In love.
Out love.
I see the girls in store.

Oh what a fool I was;
To think I had a chance.
I wish I never
Fell for this man.

He's pretty.
He's nice to me.
He makes me laugh.
That's all I could see.

I'm in your car;
You're staring at me.
I didn't say much,
But my head filled with glee.

I was blind to the truth.
I wore these roses for too long.
I just didn't think anyone would come along.

Sharing a laugh.
Breathing along.
Inhale, exhale.
I've been trying for far too long.

I missed the spark.
I missed the fire.
Did I let it die?
What matter does it make if I found the right guy?

I try and try.
Nothing meets back.
A fool is what I am.
My vision finally becomes black.
