There sitting, so cute and playful
Bashful, so modest and true
But I can see right through
Only two have touched like this

Take a chance, a leap of faith
Reluctant to trust
No doubt
Wanting more

Yearning for something real
I know I can’t have
My Words spill
Never having met

Shared like no other
Laughed like all should
Consoled like true friends
But now I’ve breached

My thirst for knowledge has clouded my judgement
My moment of weakness
Alas I’ve betrayed her trust
Hurt her

My tears are for hurting her
A good woman who opened up
Shared so much
Listened so intently

A poem inspired by her
So hot, so lustful, so sexy
The words came easy
Because it was her

Such a waste
Something as meaningful
So hard to replicate
Now tarnished

This is a beautiful poem with a feeling of vulnerability and regret. This poem leaves me wondering how you betrayed her. What was your moment of weakness?

Are your poems connected? Are you telling a story?

Do you ha e other poems to share with me?
