A revelation amidst the mud
That family is thicker than blood
Emancipated from all my doubt
Freely given me with a shout

We are whom we are given to be
This being my spectacular epiphany
A whisper like a thousand voices
Life held as an endless series of choices.

Existentialism is left to wander
A meaning to life we'll ponder
For why stand destined to fall
Does this have a point at all

The solution is simpler still
For those of impervious will
In solitude you'll surely take it
But with numbers we can make it

You can choose who is home
Even if you are left alone
You can choose who's hand to hold
Whether you play or if you fold

As you speak with a cleaved voice
Journey with a surrogate choice
Choosing the company you keep
Choosing to with whom you weep
