The daylight began and
the sun on the horizon
peeked over the mountains...
the warmth inside grew like
the fire in the heart and soul.

In the peace and quiet a
silent yawn started the day
so innocently...
a soft and gentle kiss upon
a brow felt so good within.

A summer rain filled the air
in the country as the scent
of rain became intoxicating.
Soon the day became night
ending the peace and quiet.

Dreams began deep inside
as thoughts so innocent and
pure filled the head deep within.
The comfort and warmth started
again in the peace and quiet.
