Singed -- burned -- fried
Walk through fire,
emerge, a phoenix
come out the other side.

Rise -- soar -- fly
With wings beating,
surging, a phoenix
takes flight into the sky.

vapor -- moisture -- snow

falls down slow,

blankets, cold magma

springs as a river

* * *

water -- spray -- vapor

from ground to sky,

cycling, a phoenix

aquae, anew each day

--

(Thanks, M8dOvGlaz, for giving my illustration a chance)
