She lay on the grass,
soft, flowered dress
around her waist,
sun blessed legs,
dappled highlights on
dark curls,
blossoming open,
ready,
waiting
to feel the touch of
lips
and welcoming tongue.
Illustrated by Rhinoguy
This poem was mentioned in the Archival Review thread, in a picking through Lit's archive of over 36,000 poems.
----------
Sensual poetry at its best. Describes very well the scene and Rhinoguy's drawing puts the icing on the erotic cake.
One should not read this without having a willing woman to take up the position described! Lovely simplicity. I can smell the mix of the scent of fresh grass and woman. Though you don't mention either, your poem conjured it up as part of the scene in my imagination.
Delightful sketch too Rhinoguy.
