Chipped nail polish has become the
Poor Man's Rorschach. One nail is a
snail who's only ever known slow and
the next is a dove
diving into the continent that is my
middle finger. Fuck the

words to explain what it takes to
fall asleep finally feeling
like I didn't waste the day.

The truth is- the future always
holds the possibility of a life without
those I feel so blessed to
have met so you bet your ass
I'm gonna
cling like
static
.
positive
negative
positive
negative
and it leaves me
shocked-
pondering the likelihood of fate vs. sheer luck
.
Today I sinned
just to see if I knew how to
forgive
the person I'm sleeping with.

Head meets pillow.
Pillow meets sin.
Sin meets God.
God says
"Was that it?"
