Silently his eyes gaze in wonder
and find a soul hiding in the crowd...
in a corner she's stuck and can't run
away from the man who sees her there.
He longs to touch and feel again
the beauty inside of a lady so warm...
her love is all that he really wants
and it really is all that he truly needs.
As she smiles talking to someone he
can tell the conversation is one sided...
he can tell her mind is on something new
he knows she is really some place else.
Preying on the love inside of her heart
he knows her soul is open to truth...
as he speaks her sweet smile warms him
