Prose
-Dark Horizons-

As humans, we place great import upon being the masters of our own ships of fate. We are born with wanderlust and the curiosity to sail toward our own dark and mysterious horizons. At length, though, we look astern upon the course that we have traveled. Each of us has, at some time, been caught in our own personal whirlwinds and ill tides. These events have honed our mastery to navigate our way and bred trepidation for possibilities, yet unseen. Our horizon is still dark and mysterious. We can not know how far away that horizon is, nor what lies beyond. Bravely, we sail on, for we have come to understand that life and chance is the sea upon which we sail. PN
