I could go down any road.
Eventually, the sun will follow
so I stopped thinking things were awful
just because it feels familiar to wallow.

Every time I get the urge
to purge
Life of all it's Meaning,
I have to ask myself-
Which cycle am I repeating?

Yes, I know feelings are fleeting.
They drag you through the mud
kicking & screaming,
just to dissipate completely
once the moment leaves.

I've been healing something in me.
Can't say what exactly
but for the first time, a quiet mind
isn't terrifying.

This is me Protecting my Peace.
You're welcome to sit by me.

This is exactly how I feel most of the time. Well written.
