I know it's over
but my body refuses
to accept it
you have been near me
but I couldn't touch you
the burning desire
to kiss you
still lingers
I can feel
your arms around me
pulling me close
it's because I know you
that I want you
I have a needing ache
that only you can subside
and it's leaving me
ravenous
