The real estate lady
is wearing a dress
I’m not certain
but I might guess,
She’s just had sex
like American Beauty
probably the construction
foreman, Rudi,

She has that certain
far-away look
one might describe
in a tell-all book,
The kind that are free
on Amazon Kindle
can imagine her riding
on Rudi’s spindle,

Her dress is loose
the fabric is thin
hair is disheveled
her name is Lynn,
She’s driving a silver
Audi Quatro
wonder where she
and Rudi go,

She makes coffee
with the coffee machine
the transformation
of the coffee bean,
She asks would I like
an afternoon shot
in her purse is a bottle
it’s not all she’s got,

In the Audi glove box
is a Smith & Wesson
a .38 Special
to teach a lesson,
She likes to go
to the firing range
sleeps with her gun
which isn’t that strange,

She shows me the house
for half of an hour
the last room we visit
big walk-in shower,
She tells me the space
is perfect for two
smiles and comments:
perhaps me and you,

The real estate lady
takes off her dress
I’m pretty certain
won’t have to guess,
She’s soon to have sex
has she done this before?
I watch as her dress
drops to the floor,
