Stopped beside some Interstate
Overwhelmed by noise of the flow
people in their steel cocoons
With it seems, somewhere to go,

I pulled over to take a pee
in the light of the full moon glow
Across a barren sea of sage
Where should I go?

I undo myself, and feel myself
Peeing with relief
Wondering if I might be guilty
Of being a beer thief,

Over the course of the evening
I drank my share of brew
Wondering if my fate might yield
A bed to share with you,

But alas, I got no ass
And hit the road instead
And now I watch the cars go by
Tail light glowing red,
