We have not yet been
more than just excited electrons
Key strokes across the elemental ether

The fates had brought us to this moment
all we did was move forward and
learn how to type

We learned to care, opening our hearts
and minds.

We met in that Perfect Moment
We knew one another in that time
and in each day since
we draw further from those first thoughts.

Time will always work against us
Distance more than an inconvenience
Trust almost insurmountable

With time noise influences
our minds and understanding

The mind can see the separation but
the heart sees no difference
