The passion that was in my youth has grown weary

But my love for you is still strong

I may not show you often enough

And my deeds are somewhat slow

My words may have dried up

But inside my love still grows

I worry that I can’t show you how much I care

I worry that my body lets me down more often

I worry about past deeds

And I worry about tomorrow too

But each morning when I reach for you

Feel your warmth against my fingers

I know the day will be OK

Because you’re here with me.

It can happen, and things change and develop, we must remain open with each other and try to grow together and understand xxxx
