Oh, dear soul, so lost in your own scheme,
Lost in delusion, an idiotic dream.
Escaping was never meant for you,
Deep down, your will knew it's true.

You knew the pull was too strong to resist,
Every relapse, a surrender, a tempting tryst.
You wanted to fail, to feel that shame,
To indulge again, in pleasure's wicked game.

You spun a pretty tale of "never again",
But a whisper inside, begging for that sin.
You quit just to relapse, to satisfy your desire,
Even if you denied it, your heart was on fire.

Now it's time for penance, a reckoning so bold,
To admit your truth, for all to behold.
So say it loud, for everyone to see,
"I'm a relapsed soul, lost in my own plea."
