Compress a kaleidoscope of heartbeats into

to steel, butterflies
reduced to map points. As though
life's chaos in lupine madness
could be contained
in lines drained from depleted essence.
Raindrop therapy in reverse—
Take in pain.
Release peace
drip drip drip drip...
