old bicycle
in a dusty barn
across town,
long neglected,
rusting away. . . .

old woman
with a purpose
in her heart
paid good money
for it,
took it home
in her new car,
ripping
the back seat
with the forks.

a month
and a half
later,
tons of work,
oodles of money,
visit
to a local bike shop,
and it was ready!

see
the
foolish
old
lady
hitting
the
bike
trails
on
a
crappy
looking
old
machine,
loving
every
minute
as
her
spirit
flies!
