"Roses to smell,
Roses to see,
Roses for you!
Roses for me!

Yellow and red,
White and pink -
Sick and sad
Don't you think?

Weddings and graves,
Vases and pots,
Souls will crave--
But, I think NOT!

Their sight is nice,
That is granted;
They wither and die,
Yet are replanted.

My ink is red,
My paper white.
The rose is dead
From what I write!

My ink is down,
And down to stay.
Life abounds
In what I say.

The eye of the mind
Plants its seed;
A rose is born
Yes, indeed!

Words and thoughts
(Even in prose)
State much more
Than EVER a rose!!"

Good one, and yes, the Lilys, Jasmines, Irises, Daisys and many more want to see their names in poems too.
