Two lonely ships cast out to sea
carying two scared souls, as lonely as they could be.
Both seeking harbor and both needing solace.
One seeking love.. The other chasing a promise.
One dreams of being two, while Two has hope of
becoming three.
But could He pursue love, with a broken heart?,
would he have enough pieces to give, to give love another start?
Can seeking the truth in a promise, give you enough hope to hang on...
These were their thoughts, as their boats drifted further on.
On a slim chance, or a thread of Fate, the two happened to meet.
His eyes locked on her's, his fractured heart tried to beat.
Before her she saw a man, broken... but true.
His flaws, his scars, his heart all to bare on his sleeve.
Though try as she might, she tried not to stare.
She saw in him, he carried a promise of life and of love.
Of never being alone, He looked of Home.
As She slowly reached out her hand, to touch the fractures in his heart.
The cracks slowly receded, his heart slowly mended. His One became Two!
But unbeknownst to him, with her small cargo in tow. Her daughter
came skipping along the pier. His shock and awe was abundantly clear.
Her dream of Two becoming Three, was almost in sight.
Those two lonely ships... That Fate chose to meet.
Rock side by side happily listening to little feet.

My more than Three stars come on my sleeve - or sails? Yes, quite unusual in certain ways, but who would expect a smooth ride in rough waters?

Thanks for sharing this journey.
