Click hereTo the heavens I gaze,
Thoughts are of you.
To the stars I implore,
Wondering where you are.
In the waters deep,
I see your pretty face.
In the clouds above,
Your body is shaped.
I lay myself to sleep,
The sleep of dreams,
The dreams of a love,
The love of a lifetime.
Lost in a smoky haze,
Following where my heart leads.
I tread upon the earth,
Hoping the destination is you.
From within the pulsing winds,
Your voice calls out to me.
Calming the eternal storm,
That stirs within my mind.
I lay myself to sleep,
The sleep of dreams,
The dreams of a love,
The love of a lifetime.
Through it all,
Only one thing do I want.
For what I truly pursue,
Is indeed your heart.
Wonderful expression of your hopes, dreams and desires. Well done, Tol. ~Minx
languid, loving dreams! There's so much longing in here. Beautiful work! Thank you. LJ
Gives me faith that a kind of love such as this can still exist.
I think Belegon said it best. I love those two lines as well.

and that is not a bad thing. Very optomistic as well, I have the feeling that the poet is looking forward.
"Following where my heart leads.
Hoping the destination is you."
There is a line between them that fits well within the poem, but I like these two enough to look at them by themself. Nice phrase.
I really enjoyed it. :)
Makes me want to sigh in contentment. ;)
I expect to see more of these soon!
