A cook who came from old Amsterdam
Was famous for his potatoes and ham.
But his favorite dish
Smelled somewhat like fish,
And he would say, “Okay, thank you m’am.”

While he dined on each new woman friend
He prayed his long feast would not end.
Each repast he took
He didn’t have to cook,
And it was a diet he would highly recommend.
