She was getting ready for a date
I was pretending nonchalance

Shower running, steam sneaking through the door
Singing that earworm pop song
With more beauty than it deserved
The door was blurry but I could see enough

She paused for a moment to ask:
“Do you like my bush better long or short?”
I sat up
“I like both-- but I guess I prefer it lightly trimmed”

She raised her arm, slight bounce of the breasts
Nipples proudly situated, unusually high
She wiped shave cream into her right armpit
She shaved 3 quick strokes
Did the same on the other side

She cleared a porthole in the door
Looked through at me
“Are you just going to sit there and watch?
Don’t you have better to do?”
My smile was a sardonic blur
“I’m just observing your majesty”

She soaped her belly, her breasts
To my envy
Looking so slippery and smooth my hands ached
She closed her eyes into the spray
Hair thick and soaked to a handful
She rubbed in that sweet-smell

She put one foot against the wall waist high
Leaned forward
And proceeded to shave those curvaceous legs so smoothly
My eye traveled with her hand over every measure

She turned her back to the water spread her cheeks
Let the water run between them
For just a moment
She pounded the water off

I was prompt with a towel over the door
She dried herself quickly then wrapped it turbanlike around her head
She pulled the door open and revealed herself
Full glory after the opacity

My breath caught but I said:
“I hope he appreciates all this work”
She sat down and rubbed lotion onto her fresh legs
“Oh, it’s mostly for me, it makes me feel sexy”

I smiled and somehow swallowed
“Please can I fuck you now”
Into
“Have a good night”
