“Prequel”

You know I thought
I would let you know
How lovingly and lustfully
And raw-like
I miss your skin
All of it cries to me
Flies to me
Over the damp and the
Freezing miles
Your skin
Velvety
Like petals on a lilac
Intent
Like spines on a cactus
Measured in miles not inches
Not the musician the player
But slow jazz the music
Is truly relevant here
Starting really
Painfully slow
Then rising to a
Crescendoed release

“Sequel”

I run nails
Down your back
And you murmur
"Yesss..."
I feel the realness
Of your masculinity
Revealed in every
Pore of your flesh
Against mine
Limbs spent
Skin hot
Bodies exhilaratingly
Wrapped and draped
And tossed against each other
Our bodies so intertwined
That I go to kiss your hand
And kiss my own hand instead
Your arm so jauntily
Lying over my shoulders
I love the candor the creamy suede
Of your skin
