I can't tell you I love you,
If I did I would lose my heart again,
If I believed you could love me,
I would make you my whole world.
But my heart is broken and torn between what I know and how I feel,
I cannot give you those words because they are the weapons used to destroy my heart for good.
I cannot give you those words,
Because my lips burn to say them, just as my ears burn to hear them.
I cannot give you those words, a million tears is not worth the price.
So you see why I cannot, will not tell you I love you? You are my bright salvation or my doomed demise,
You are a heart break in disguise,
A childhood fairytale before my eyes,
So please tell me those words and make me believe them and maybe someday,
I can give you those words...
