Homage to the precious Aphrodite,
Arrayed in holy Venusian bliss!
The Ancient One, beautiful and might,
Ourania, and her retinue kiss

Mankind, who could never lack but might miss
Her all pervading love; her compassion;
Her elegant emanations, and this,
Her throne, the human heart, Parnassian.

Homage to she whose pensive dispassion
Sees all beings equally, with great love.
She wears promiscuity as fashion;
Her purity is shown with a white dove.

I bow to you, Aphrodite, again.
Please increase my love and wash away my sin.
