There is no other remedy,
No cure for what I feel for thee,

All butterflies in my stomach,
When I see thee, they fly up and then come back,

In uncontrollable fashion,
I can’t stop this unexplainable reaction,

When you’re no where to be found,
I feel alone and stare at the ground,

All good things going on around me,
I can’t enjoy them without thee.

‘Ignore my weakness,
But don’t ignore me’,

I shout my heart out and my desires,
Please let the universe and me conspire,

I only speak the truth from 3 to 5AMs,
And let the other hours be a mayhem.

A time when I am at my most genuine and vulnerable state,
To you and your dreams, I apologize for being late,

‘Fire in our eyes,
Fire in our hearts,

We have dared to defy imperial convention’,
And for always, I’ll yearn for that previous connection.

Good stuff.

I enjoyed this because I have felt this way at dawn, also. :)
