The mystery lies within
deep in the abyss...
in the darkness remains
the guts of the machine.
Veins of human discord
lie in wait to be found...
captured by big awed eyes,
ruins have been so razed.

Inside of an empty tomb
relics of another age...
will soon see the light of day
and the darkness of the night...
will get passed all the shadows
as they fall one by one.
Soon the moon and stars will glow
upon that big temple of myth.

Artifacts of an age and time
amaze and awe masses...
as a human touch so gentle
lifts up what is old and frail.
From deep under the earth
the loads of gold and jade...
rise to the surface before a crowd
lost in the rapture of the dig.

The graveyard below the soil
is a look into yesterday...
when life in an alien world was
as different as can be.
A people simple but wise who
saw their world fade away...
as it fell hard to the ground to
become an ancient myth.
