With your apartment building behind you
You sat on green grass, and what did you do?
You sat on the grass all day as you dug.
Your action unearthed a Valentine bug.
Evening had arrived and you went upstairs
(To the apartment, for whoever cares.)
By teleporting, the bug made its way
To the place where you and your family stay.
It bears a resemblance to a black heart,
But no one would call it a work of art.
Much to your chagrin it plants on your skin
And you hear hissing as it sinks within.
Heed this warning and don't dig in the dirt
Or the bug you'll release, and it will hurt.
