I want to apologize
For how I have hurt you in the past.
Sex and alcohol were the favored vices
As well as my abusive, excusing crutch

The fool dances while on fire
Unaware that he’s burning
Until the music stops and
The rolled Benjamin reaches the line’s end

My addictions to sin became new kin
I was fucking so I couldn’t give a fuck
I’d found strong branch
Stood on tall chair
The rope you threw
Prevented me from dying
And I
I can’t thank you enough
