A wolf eyes his prey, lust clouding his vision
Hands clenching as she turns to run
She leaps over fallen brush and darts around trees
His intense gaze bores into her back
Her jagged breathing is like a siren's song
Inciting a riot in his blood and mind
The choice between the chase and conquest
Echoing with his every footfall
A quick glance over her shoulder settles it
One powerful pounce and the game has ended
In a heap of teeth and snarls, he takes his prey
Fire and air, fuelling each other into madness
A torrent of beauty and pain, wind and brimstone
And as they kiss, consume
