Sometimes I long to be lost in a world of psychosis and isolation, at least it’s a world I know.
A world where my only objective is my next fix.
Although I rejoice in health, I’m still a slave to the sickness.
I’d bring my Nancy girl and settle for less, we can be lost together.
I keep the curtains drawn and without light, still jump at shadows.
No longer do I wish to see people I don’t care to see, or face the things I’m required to.
I wish for time to stand still for a while, so I can retreat and truly live in death.
I’m seething for an escape hatch to make the great escape.
