The dividing waters they
divide north from south...
and west from east in a
cold war of pure control.
Without batting an eye they
conquer a people so proud...
and they lie about it all when
they're not looking at them.
They divide with a decision
to end their breaking hearts...
and as the wrecking ball comes
in they destroy what has been.
To divide and conquer the city
is to tear down people's lives'
and make their souls all break.
The dividing line rips apart the
nations that have been one.
And the decision to remain in
a state of chaos all the while...
it lies upon the wire that leads
to ears of tin that just don't care.
The bleeding hearts of leaders
tear all of our humanity away.
They've conquered everybody
now and they don't feel inside...
and that wrecking ball starts again
to raze everything that is good.
To divide and conquer a nation
is to break hearts of people and
make all of their hearts break.
Dividing waters...they are...
dividing waters.
