A brighter sky unfurls
gray to white. Dawn drifts
in from the grace of night
to precede a waking day
blowing pines greener
on the other side of pane.

Busy toes curl straight up
to smiles. Sweet patchouli
scents the air now passing
doors closing and opening.

Wince!

Beautifully written as usual but Eve is kind about "other side of pane"

Great images...

of a new day revitalized by the drops of rainfall.

Mmm Nummy

I can just smell that fresh rain scent.

Wonderful Imagery.

Can I go splash in the puddles now?

your poems

are usually so well written that even the slightest thing can throw me. In other words, I can't read your poetry without expecting perfection. The only line I'm iffy about is: on the other side of pane. I'm having a love/hate thingy with it.
