Tears blur his vision,
The room is spinning.
The voices won't stop yelling.
No matter how much he fights back,
They keep on winning.
So much pressure and pain with no release.
There is no end, no calm,
Just his anxiety increase.
He falls to his knees,
Silently screaming for peace,
Just as he thinks he can't take one more moment,
And he seems like his own opponent,
A calm rushes over him,
And the whole world goes silent,
His head completely clears like it's filled with air,
The crushing weight on his chest he no longer bears,
He takes a deep breath in the air is crisp and sweet,
He no longer feels on the edge of defeat,
His whole body buzzes like a constant vibration,
And all he feels is a consistent relaxation,
There's no bad thing around the corner about to happen,
No dark voices whispering temptation.
He closes his eyes and smiles at last,
Knowing that in this moment his darkness has past.
