At the concert sitting
there, on my left
tall long-haired lady
60-plus I guess,
Wearing stretch Levi’s
tight on her narrow frame,
loose-fitting blouse
someone said her name,
Band played loud and rowdy
sang and danced along
knew all the words
to each and every song,
My mind began to wander
as my mind is prone to do
what this long-haired lady
and I, might do,
Drinking in that bar
Key West, the band proposed
getting fairly wasted
stripping off our clothes,
Tall long-haired lady
dancing on the beach
all our indiscretion
within easy reach,
But that is not what happened
the concert ended soon
remembering the words
of the last tune,
With an image of that lady
lasting through the night
the things we might have done
were she sitting on my right,
