Last time she had
sex with a man
was California
La La Land,
Van Nuys waiting
for the survey plane
a Lear jet pilot

to a motel with
a revolving bed,

A mirror on the ceiling
and on each wall

L.A. is never short

and people wearing
all types of disguises,

They started slow
but it didn’t take long
for both to decide
there was nothing wrong,
With a midnight rotation
just short of Mach One
over breakfast they said
“damn, that was fun …
