The silent windows of the soul
the eyes that can't be read...
the brick wall in front of the heart
that just can't be broken down...
the truths and lies that are here
and now will linger in the air...
and forever will lay so deep within
inside of the pride there somewhere.

The feelings and the emotions wail,
cry for vengeance for a lost love...
somehow somewhere there is a pain
and in vain a word is spoken aloud.
Rhyme and reason will somehow die
and the soul inside will feel empty...
without love the heart will stop beating
and surely enough will somehow stop.

Deeper and deeper the passions get
without asking for a place to stay...
they will remain there running on idle
waiting for that magical moment.
That pivotal time when the heart will
pounce like a lion upon its prey...
and the pride will be forever shown
'cause it waited for the right time.
