It was calm today
no worry to be had
a breeze in the air
that had no real direction
a road without a traveller
an adventurer without a map
a present for no receiver
a friendly face
a devilish smile
a look full of ambition
a tightness without intention
a dwelling for the rising bull
a moon for the vessel to travel
tightness fills the mouth
as pressure and water levels rise
the human element being drenched
the back of passage being slammed
the salt of the joker is imminent
the laugh it bellows
the essense flash floods
the end was a lie
my end is the truth
the truth must ride
the human vessel is much to bear
yet bear the end must accomplish
as the turbulent land bucks
and as the waters slide
the end goes up and down
harder as the rise thrusts
and agitates until the end
is filled.
