long ago
she had a Master
whom she loved dearly
and served daily.
He was different from her
and that put a strain
on their relationship
but she looked forward
to serving Him
whenever she could.
then one awful day
they had a disagreement
and He vanished
from her life.
her heart was broken
tears stained her face
but she was determined
to find
and serve Him
once more
so every time
she went
to the place they met
she looked for Him
hoping He would return
someday
for her.
days turned into weeks
that soon became months
which dragged on by
and are achingly empty
even now.
once
she saw Him
and thought
the time had come
for their reunion
but He vanished
before she
could reach out to Him.
to this day
she is searching
for her Master
every time
she visits
her sacred place
hoping against hope
they will reunite
some day. . . .
