Janie had a tooth fall out and
she put it under her pillow.
Her mom said tomorrow there
will be money in the tooth's place.
Believing her mom Janie went off
to sleep with a big wide smile.
Soon she began to dream and
in her dream she heard a voice.

" Hello Janie, can you hear me? "
asked a beautiful female voice.
" Yes I can hear you " Janie said,
then asked " who are you? "
" I am your tooth fairy and my
name is Anthea.
Are you getting money for your
tooth tomorrow? "

" Yes mommy said I will get some if
I put my tooth under my pillow. "
" How much are you getting? " Anthea
asked. " I don't know " said Janie.
" Would five dollars make you happy? "
the tooth fairy queried.
" That would be very nice " Janie said
with an impish smile.

" Well go to sleep my child and in the
morning it will be there. "
" Thank you very much " Janie said
to Anthea, her tooth fairy.
Janie woke at the crack of dawn and
and looked under her pillow.
There was a crisp five dollar bill there
and her smile was a mile wide.

" Mommy, mommy " yelled Janie as she
ran to her mom.
" Look at what the tooth fairy brought
me " she said happily.
" The tooth fairy gave you five dollars?
Wow, you're a lucky girl. "
As Janie's mom looked at her husband
he shrugged and said " I didn't do it. "
