He whined, cried and moaned
about every little thing.
Some called him The Town Crier,
Caleb was a whiner.

He would moan and groan and
cry and make such a fuss.
He walked thru' the village roads
complaining to everyone.

The cobblestone roads grew thin
underfoot of everyone.
Caleb stopped every soul to
complain more and more.

No one was surprised he ever
said the sky was falling.
As Caleb complained about
everything that irritated him.

Finally one day Miss Young
got tired of Caleb and she
said " shut up you stupid whiner,
you're getting on my nerves."

" But Miss Young, I..." he began
" oh just shut up Caleb " she said.
" No one wants to hear you boy,
it's time to shut your trap."

From that day forward Caleb
never said a word again.
No one ever heard him cry
anymore nor moan or whine.
