Time is a road so long and going nowhere,
tomorrow is so many hours away.
And life is like a forked road bathed in the sun.
But time is an enemy powered by days...
that pass us by everyday and night and we've
got to learn what's right and a rite.

Because time is a road...ticking by in our
lives'. And we're travelling on, unravelling on
but we're rambling on and we're going to
find that time ain't easy because we all know
that time is a road.

Seasons pass by, rhyme and reason is flying
like birds of prey soaring through the summer sky.
Life isn't still at all because it flows on.
And time's still the enemy powered by life
that passes silently along there and we've
got to feel the air everywhere.

Because time is a road...ticking by in our
lives'. We're still traveling on and unraveling
on but we're getting it on and we're not going
to be blinded easy because we will know our
time is a road.

The highways of life are long and winding
and time is really ever so blinding...
but we will find the right time for climbing
and seek out the rites that we'll need in
time when...

Time is a road ticking by in our lives'.
We'll keep travelling on, unravelling dawn
but keep rambling on and we're going to
find that time is fleeting because we will
know that time is a road.

Our time is a road!
