When it all shakes down,
I must let it be enough
to simply love my loved ones
for who they are
and not what they provide me with.

Trust is not a currency.

My hurt feelings hold no bearings
if I equate a bruised ego to broken bones
because truth be told, the ego benefits
from the breaking.

I don't want to live for the opinions
of those I'd never ask for guidance.
I am influenced
only by the flow of the Moment.

How insufferable it is to be Human...
but I try to remind myself
of the Positive.
