I have written a Limerick and placed it with Literotica below in reference to favorite book of mine: Gone with the Wind. I ask you to ignore movie version, but read the novel. My interest in the book began when I received a first edition of such novel in English. Not perfect issue, but it is a First.

It was given to me as gift. I was told at such time that the lead character, Scarlett, is a romantic pretty little rich bitch who is destined to have it all her way but fails miserably with many lovers, husbands and a dastardly Rhett Butler who also marries her as well. Well, not exactly a twin of mine, but I understood the similarity whom my gift giver was referencing.

Setting is America United States during 1800s while America was fighting a civil war. I am not familiar with that war, but not to worry … war is war in any country. The war played havoc on her romantic plans, but she is doggedly determined not to let that silly bit of consternation end her romantic quests. Well, war does intrude and proves to deny her of her whimsical ideas of romance.

Tomorrow is another day

A war came, filled her with sorrow.
Making her beg, steal and borrow.
Soldiers off to duty
“I’ll sell them my booty
‘And think about that tomorrow’.”

Scarlett was far from a Plain Jane.
But not easy for man to maintain.
With a fuck here and there
She openly sweared,
“I‘ll never be hungry again.”

Her men was what she could get
‘Til finally she met Mr. Rhett.
He became one of many
For no more than a penny.
To fuck this pretty brunette.

Her green dress she sewed was a scam.
Rhett discovered so by her rough hand.
So abused this fair harlot
And said to Miss Scarlett,
“Frankly, I don’t give a damn.”
