Toxic Love

The touch of your skin on mine ignites a burning passion unrivaled.

The hours we spent making desperate, hungry love, never able to get too much of each other.

Who knew we could hate each other as much as we loved each other?

That the fire we danced with so passionately would burn us to ashes.

As days turn into months, the ache still pierces my core.

As heroin to the addict, I still yearn for you, your touch, your taste, the electric that we possess.

Together, we’re poison.
Apart, we’re starving.

In another world, in another lifetime… maybe love would have been enough.
