Here on these weathered pages is the story of our life,
Our hopes, our dreams, our wishes, our worries, and our strife.
Upsetting times that hurt us and made us feel so sad,
In relation to all we’ve had they’re truly not so bad.

You’ll read we have sailed ourselves into the red sunsets,
And all the things we did at whim and never felt regrets.
Walking hand in hand and I felt the magic of your charms,
When we awoke at dawn’s light while in each other’s arms.

Nothing at all that you could do to ever make me mad,
Every time we made love we offered everything we had.
Speculation of when, where, and how was positively rife,
Turn back a page and you will see I took you for my wife.
