Turning The Other Cheek.
By: jes_da_man

You know they say
Turning the other cheek
Will make you strong
And not at all weak.

But the other day
When you took my life
By coming around
And stealing my wife.

There is no way
For you to get
Away with that
And that's a sure bet.

For five will get you ten
That within seven days
You'll be full of regret
Trying to change her ways.

She'll eat you alive
While calling you "Honey"
Turn your life upside down
And take all your money.

By the time she's done
You'll be at my door
Saying "Please take her back!"
"I can't take it no more."

And she'll be back
Where she was before
And, also from you
Won't want anymore.

She'll kiss my cheek
The one I didn't turn
And you'll stand there
Watching that bridge burn.

And even think twice
About being so brave
For you may end up
Digging your own grave.
