I walked in willingly
I have no one to blame
Because everyone warned me
Everyone guessed

I thought I hid it well
But an easy target
Is hard to resist for someone like you.

I felt it, I did,
A little unease
A small warning
Before I crossed the line
You warned me too
In the beginning
But I fail to listen and didn’t listen
And let hope in.

It takes my breath
The foolish thoughts
And the undserved joy
That I just barely tasted
It does not matter what you think
If you even think
I just gave you all
And am left with
Self-inflicted scars.

You promised nothing after all
And I walked in willingly ...
