kneeling, i am all new
my arms and legs askew
breathing into you

i unfold like a lucky crane
no crumples, only delicate folds
and rise to meet you

this is no time for blushing
but i cannot seem to help
that rise of heat in my cheeks

i live two lives, and more,
in every moment these days
every blink transports me

here i am, bound yet free
and there i am, free yet bound
but only here is it my choice

the words come and come
to the tips of my fingers
while my tongue remains still
